Situated in the hills at 90 metres above sea level, only 5 kilometres from the beautiful, untouched beaches of the Ionian Sea, the farm is 45 kilometres from the mountains, lakes and forests of the ‘Sila piccola’. The farm produces citrus fruits, olives, almonds and other fruits and vegetables, using only biological methods. All these may be bought at the farm shop.

The holiday farm guarantees a relaxing stay for its guests in independent houses with fully equipped kitchens, air-conditioning, central heating, television, veranda and barbecue.

To enjoy those relaxing moments there is a lovely swimming pool set amongst orange trees on a natural terrace overlooking the Simeri valley. For those who want more active pursuits there is tennis, five a side football,  table tennis, as well as bicycles to explore the countryside.  

Younger guests can enjoy a wooden built games area. For nature lovers there are areas for picnics and wildlife observation harmoniously fitting into the agricultural life of the farm.

“Santacinnara” is the destination for guided visits by students, families and groups attracted to its particular position and evocative natural beauty. Here they can find out about the cycles of agricultural production and spend lovely days living the most genuine aspects of country life.

It is also possible to take walks through the fruit groves, explore the Simeri valley and the nearby countryside in enjoyable and interesting excursions. The rural world is brought to life visiting the small “museum of rural civilisation” and looking at the collection of historical photographs on exhibition. Typical products of local and Calabrese traditional cuisine are available for tasting.

The desirable location of Santacinnara means that the visitor can enjoy absolute peace without ever feeling isolated. By car:  motorway SA-RC (A3), at Lamezia Terme exit for    Catanzaro. Follow signs to Catanzaro until you see signs for Catanzaro Lido, at Catanzaro Lido follow signs for Crotone, after approximately 15 km, you will see a sign for Soveria Simeri and Zagarise. Take left to Soveria Simeri and drive for another 5 km. Turn right at first significant intersection and then signs for Santacinnara will shortly follow (approx. 75 m.).
